Fall is officially in full swing and I feel renewed excitement about cooking, making me hopeful (but skeptical) that returning to the blog will happen naturally. I'm home in Tucson for the weekend and this morning I made my mom and Oliver some pear cardamom coffee cake (pictured at left). Sadly, while edible, it was nothing to write home (let alone a blog entry) about. So instead of including a recipe I decided to post a list of recipes that I want to try adapting to the awesome combo of pear and cardamom:
Mariana -- have you been making anything lately?
P.S. I loved your Halloween pictures on facebook.
zombies are the new vampires, right? so having a zombie blog makes us kind of cool, if negligent, bloggers?
ReplyDeletei agree we should start again, i'm just having trouble being motivated to make things i don't already know how to make. advise me.
what do you think gets in the way of blogging? part of it for me is that i just haven't been inspired...i haven't made anything that seemed worthy of blogging about in a long long time. how do you get inspired with cooking? also, i never figured out what my blogging perspective or purpose is -- obviously there are a lot of food bloggers out there making tastier and better photographed food than me. maybe i should just focus on blogging as a way to keep in touch with you and have that be enough. maybe i get caught up when i think of it as something anyone other than you might read? what is your address? obviously this is something you would want to email to me as opposed to post on the blog.
ReplyDeleteYea, you're back!
